KYLE ALDOUS
Kyle began breakdancing his Senior year when
he moved to Singapore and met Brandon Krogel (still best
friends today). They started a breakdance club at Singapore
American School and began trying to learn as much as they
could. After graduating, Kyle came to BYU and began to meet
with the breakdance club on campus. After a year of practicing
and learning from those around him he performed with the
Cougarettes during their spring showcase.
Just as his love for breakdancing began he put it aside
to serve a 2 year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter-day Saints to the midlands of England and Wales,
Kyle jumped back into bboying from the moment he got back
to BYU. He has seen tremendous growth in his dancing since
returning from his mission. Kyle enjoys the rush that comes
from "battling" (breakdance competition) and has
won several competitions both individually and with his
crew, GroundHounds. He loves the crew and says that he feels
like they are one big family. His bboy name is "Justified".
He recently graduated from BYU with a degree in Public Relations.
Kyle is an enthusiastic teacher who loves to create a passion
for breakdancing within everyone he steps into the studio
with. Kyle will teach anyone at any age and any skill level.
His main goal is to help his students develop a love for
breakdancing. Once they have that love, they will never
want to stop practicing and at that point in time the possibilities
are endless.
