Kenedy Kallas Headed to Russia

Center Stage Teen Company member, Kenedy Kallas is on her way to Russia to dance at the 15th Annual International Ballet Festival Mariinsky in St. Petersburg, Russia. She was recently featured on KSL's "Good Things Utah."

See the video of her guest appearance here.

From Good Things Utah, "Kenedy Kallas is only 14 years old, but her age isn't stopping her from doing big things in the dance world. She has been invited to dance at the 15th Annual International Ballet Festival Mariinsky in St. Petersburg, Russia.

She will be joined by her partner, 14-year-old Austen Acevedo. The two are the first American youth to be invited to this world event.

During their all-expenses paid two week stay, they will receive special training and coaching and learning a new piece of choreography by Mariinsky’s finest choreographers.

In addition, Kennedy and Austen will make their premiere US appearance in the Youth America Grand Prix Gala in NYC on April 16. After their return from Russia, the couple will perform at the Gala de Danza in Cabo San Lucas in Mexico on June 13."
